Posada Bisabuela Martina is a two stars country house hotel a nice place to enjoy the beach in a quiet countryside and nature. We are situated very closed to the fishing village of Laredo and Castro Urdiales.
Liendo, our village, is placed on the oriental coast of Cantabria, between Laredo and Castro Urdiales. The village is made up by small groups of houses, green pastures and some farms. In the village there are two small restaurants, some bars, a shop, pharmacy and bank…Our Country house is quite close to San Julián's Beach, just ten minutes on foot. Solpico's Cliffs, Sonabia's hill and the Candina Peak are interesting places for photography and ornithology lovers; the only colony of vultures of the whole Cantabrian Coast lives here.
The well known towns of Laredo and Castro Urdiales have many beaches, and a wide offer of leisure activities and lots of restaurants to take delicious fish dishes and seafood.Saint James Way goes through Castro Urdiales and Laredo, which pass next to our house, therefore the pilgrims often visit us.
